What is Curcumin?

Curcumin is the primary active component in Turmeric spice and is the key ingredient responsible for its numerous health benefits. Curcumin creates the bright orange hue in the Turmeric spice and has been used for thousands of years in cultures around the world for its amazing healing power.

Turmeric is a spice and medicinal herb that is commonly used in many Indian dishes such as curries and other savory sauces. Curcumin is found within Turmeric and makes up approximately 2-5% of its total makeup.
