ZYN’s new Daily Wellness Drink Mixes are here! While mixing the CURCUMIN (from Turmeric) infused powder with water is the most common way to use them, there are tons of creative ways to get your CURCUMIN fix! Here are our top 5 favorite ways to use our Daily Wellness Boost Drink Mixes when we aren’t sipping on them.
1. Add to yogurt
Mix half a packet of ZYN with plain yogurt for a flavor and CURCUMIN boost! We made a yogurt bowl using the Passion Fruit Lemonade flavor for a tropical twist.
2. Use in a DIY Face Mask
As mentioned above, CURCUMIN and Turmeric are great for the skin. The anti-inflammatory qualities of Turmeric are great for soothing acne. This DIY acne face mask is one that teenagers will especially love. Combine half a packet of ZYN with half of a mashed avocado and a teaspoon of Manuka honey (optional). Apply to the face, let sit for 20 minutes, and then rinse away with water.
3. Add to a smoothie
To switch up your daily smoothie, add a packet of ZYN. The CURCUMIN is great for an extra anti-inflammatory boost.
4. Use in a DIY Lip Scrub
Turmeric is great for the skin and is known for its brightening and anti-inflammatory properties. When your lips are in need of some love and exfoliation, combine half a packet of ZYN with 1 tablespoon of soft coconut oil and 2 teaspoons of cane sugar. The best part of this lip scrub is that you can lick it off!
5. Tie-dye without the artificial dyes!
Turmeric is known for its bright yellow color, and it is perfect to use as a natural dye. Wrap a white t-shirt with rubber bands and soak in cool water for 30 minutes. Add 2 packets of ZYN to a deep bowl with 4 cups of boiling water and mix well. Submerge the t-shirt in the ZYN mixture and let it soak for 24 hours. The next day, remove the shirt from the mixture and rinse under the sink with cool water (be careful not to stain anything). Tumble dry on low to set the dye and you’re good to go. Be sure to not wash or dry with anything else. After the first wash, your shirts will have a fun yellow glow!
Turmeric has been consumed in the Eastern part of the world for over 5,000 years. We’re curious if ancient civilizations used CURCMUMIN from Turmeric in creative ways as well.
